Yikes!

OK, so I'm a little behind. It's almost February and I haven't gotten any pictures up from Christmas, New Years, or anything for January. Then Monday I looked at my blog and realized I still had a gingerbread man theme. Oops! So here's a new theme and Kara's Santa picture. More to come soon. Really!

Garden d'Lights

I'd heard from a couple different people that the Botanical Gardens were beautiful, so I had high expectations and was not disapointed. It was AMAZING!! If you haven't been yet and you live in the NW I highly recomend going. We were all WOW'd! These pictures really don't do it justice. Plus its free! The onsite parking is $5, but there is free parking at the school a block away. Check out Bellevuebotanical.org for address and hours.

Hey cousin

Jeff's younger brother David has a little boy, Kara's first cousin! We spent Thanksgiving with them over at their Dad's house in Port Orchard. Andre is 6 months younger then Kara but he outweighs her by almost 9 lbs. I snaped a couple pictures of Andre checking out Kara's toys.

The Bad Apple Cup

The last couple years we've celebrated an "early Thanksgiving" at my Dad's house with Mark (step-brother) , Janine (step-sister) and Wesley (half-brother) and of course my Dad and Lisa. My Dad, Lisa and Janine are all UofW alumni, so cheering on the Huskies is also a family pastime. Well its a good thing the food was so dang good. I don't know what was sadder, watching the Huskies finshing a losing season with a loss to a team that was having an even worse losing season... or having to watch them lose in double overtime because they missed yet another field goal. Oh well, at least we had my favorite pie for dessert, apple pie ala mode! YUM!
